Use Net(also known as 'netnews' or 'news') is a global, decentralized network for the exchange of user-created text messages or binary files. All messages are placed in so-called newsgroups, a newsgroup generally focuses on a specific topic, using (text messages if any) a specific language, and is sometimes limited to a specific country, region or institution.
Usenet is used for different purposes:
discussing topics (often with people who do not know)
asking and answering questions on any topic
the distribution of files such as pictures, music, and software (this can sometimes be illegal, because if copyright is violated)
